These little guys are SO tasty and super simple to make! low in sugar āļø, rich in protein āļø, and packed full of healthy fats too! āļøplus they make a great Valentineās Day snackš„°
Ingredientsā¬ļø
1/2 cup almond butta š°
4 pitted medjool dates š«, *soaked in hot water for 15min
1/3 cup sunflower seeds š±
1/3 cup walnuts š„
1/4 cup hemp seeds š
1/2 cup almond flour šæ
1/4 cup GF oats š¾
1/2 TSP @simplyorganicfoods Ceylon cinnamon āØ
1 TSP vanilla extract š
1/4 cup coconut flakes š„„
1/3 cup water š§
3/4 cup freeze dried strawberries š
Directions ā¬ļø
In a food processor, combine all ingredients except strawberries. Pulse ingredients together. Make sure to not pulse them too long, as you want to keep some of the chunks of nuts for the bars! Use a spatula to push mixture down from sides of food processor. Also, if you feel like it needs more water, spoon in an additional 1 TB then pulse ingredients together. Repeat if necessary. Then add in freeze dried strawberries. Pulse a few times. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread mixture evenly on sheet, topping with a few extra crushed dried strawberries. Let harden in fridge for 2-3hrs. Remove, cut into bars, & enjoy! š
